DeVille is a 2024–25 Hodder Fellow at Princeton and a recipient of the Anonymous Was a Woman Award (2018). Her honors include being named a 2018 United States Artists Fellow, a 2017–18 Rome Prize Fellow at the American Academy in Rome, a 2015 Creative Capital Grantee, a 2014–15 Fellow at The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard, as well as receiving the 2015 Obie Award for Design. Additionally, DeVille was the 2013–14 Artist in Residence at The Studio Museum in Harlem and a 2012 Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant recipient. DeVille received her MFA from Yale University and BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
